Backyard Fun is pleased to announce that all of our 2013 Sunshine, Rainbow, Monster, King Kong, Palace & Kingdom Play Systems will be constructed of 100% Redwood. While some manufacturers are opting to use "Imported (Chinese) Cedar" in their play systems, we have opted to use 100% California Redwood that is harvested responsibly. For every one tree that is harvested, 5 more are planted. Additionally, consumers must be aware that China fir is not a true cedar species, but a member of the Taxodiaceae (bald-cypress) family. Identified by the scientific name Cunninghamia Lanceolata. |
